Welcome to the Joyful Stars February Blog Hop
I just love this sassy old lady. My friends are at the age where we are teasing each other about getting older. I know they will get a kick out of this card.
This is from the stamp and thin cut set "You're not old" Z3653.
The paper I used is from the Celebrate Today paper packet and bluebird cardstock (both the light and
dark sides).
To purchase this set you can shop at website - LAMeadows.CloseToMyHeart.com
Your next hop is over to Nancy Brown to see the artwork she is sharing with us. I can't wait to see!

Welcome to the Joyful Stars Blog Hop for January
Happy New Year to you all!
I LOVE this paper suite! It is called Spruced Up and it is perfect for this time of year. I created this two page layout using the paper pack that includes stickers (X7253S). I used a gold shimmer brush on the pine cones and tree. I started with clear but preferred the look of gold.
I will be able to make 2 more 2 page layouts with the remaining paper and stickers as well as some cards.

Welcome to the Joyful Stars blog hop for December
If you read my previous post, you read that we create a card for each of the residents at retirement community that we "adopted". Hopefully we bring them as much joy as they bring us! I created another batch of cards using the Custom Ornament thin cuts.
With the thin cut set you can cut a base (I did this with the gold foil paper). You can also choose to cut the other portions of the ornament with different cardstock or patterned paper. I wanted a simple elegant card so I simply nested the pieces and ran it through my Bigshot once. In order to be frugal,
I cut the red mat piece at 4 x 5 1/4. The easiest way for me to do this was to nest the thin cuts on the Bigshot plate with the cutting sides facing up. I then placed the mat piece of cardstock and then the other Bigshot plate (thus cutting in an upward direction). This is not a requirement, just a choice I made.
Since I was making a batch of these cards I was actually able to run two red mats through my bigshot and the thin cuts still gave me a nice clean cut even with each of the fine decorative cuts in the ornament.
Snowflakes embossing folder Z3518 was used on the White daisy piece. I was away at the time I made these cards and only had black ink. I would have used Candy Apple Ink if I had in with me for the Merry Christmas sentiment on the front.

Welcome to the Joyful Stars November blog hop
My friends and I "adopted" a retirement community in our town and we make a holiday card for each resident (based on the holiday they celebrate). My contribution this year is this card made with the Buttoned Up thin cuts Z3524. I was able to make 16 rather quickly.
I used:
Candy Apple cardstock (4.25 x 5.5)
Black cardstock cut with thin cut
White cardstock I started with a white piece 4.25 x 2.25 and just positioned the wavy thin cut as close to the bottom as possible. The fur trim was (1.5 x 2)
Silver paper for the buckle
Work from the top down. I didn't cover the entire beard with adhesive because I wanted to slip the fur trim underneath it in the center. I then added the black belt covering a bit of the fur trim.

Welcome to the Joyful Stars blog hop for September!
Hi All! It has been such a long time since I posted the last time but I am back!
I was playing with the new Hawthorn paper and created a few layouts. With the scraps remaining I made the following cards.

Welcome to the Joyful Stars blog hop for July!
Apologies to all! I truly thought I would have some artwork for you this month but I can't show you any sneak peeks from Convention and I have been running ever since I returned.
The one thing I CAN share from convention is a cute little guy I found.
That's right! Sticky Boy!!!! I had a nagging in my head to go look in a particular spot. As I wandered over I noticed another consultant leaving (she didn't find a Sticky Boy). I thought "DARN! there is no Sticky Boy there" but I wandered over anyway and lo and behold the other consultant missed him. I think it was meant to be that he came home to PA with me.
Your next hop is over to Stephanie Brown to see what she has for us this month,
