Welcome to the Joyful Stars Blog Hop for January!

Here is a very simple Valentines Card using the January Stamp of The Month.  You can purchase the Stamp of the Month for a discounted price of $5 with a qualifying order of  $50.

I created a card base sized 4 1/4  x 5 1/2 using our white daisy Card stock.

The Ruby stripe is cut at 2 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The Black stripe is cut at 2 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I used a single strand of the Cranberry Baker's Twine and attached it to the back of the black card stock making sure there would be sufficient drape for the hearts.  I created 2 little bows (using the fork method).

I attached the black stripe to the Ruby strip and attached it to the front of the card.

I cut the hearts with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge from the Ruby card stock at 1/4 inch larger that specified on the stamp carrier sheet because I like the look better.  I stamped the hearts with black ink and attached them to the card with our 3-D dimensional tape.

My final steps were to stamp XO at the bottom of the card and attach the two bows with a little drop of liquid glass.
