Due to time constraints I decided to post the card I designed for the Spring Card Extravaganza. The Skylark paper makes it so easy to create cards and scrapbook layouts. If you look at this card you might think that I stamped the bird on the paper but in reality it is the upper left portion of one of the papers. The embellishments that I added were the Bronze shimmer trim, the eye of the bird and the "Happy Birthday" sentiment. For the 2 green layers I used our Sweet Leaf card stock and the final layer is simply the opposite side of the Skylark paper. Do not fear that any portion of the remaining Skylark paper will go to waste. I will be posting pictures of my other projects using the "scraps".
Your next hop is over to Crystal. I have seen some of what she has been up to and I know you will like it. Enjoy your hops!

I like how you "bravely" stamped the Happy Birthday right on to the bird paper. It looks perfect there!
ReplyDeleteI love how you creatively used the paper! Since I'm lucky enough to have one of these cards from the cardmaking day I can say it is even better in person :)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Skylark paper packet is one pretty packet. I love the addition of a piece of Bronze Shimmer trim and the sparkle for the bird's eye :)
